In both "Like the Sun" and "The Open
Window", truthfulness is the idea that is explored.
In Like the Sun, Sekhar decides to be truthful and makes a
pact with himself and eternity yet he soon finds out that being truthful isn't
so easy.
On the other hand, “The Open Window” conveys the message
that in a person's narrative about an incident, it is often difficult to
decipher the truth.
D is the only sentence with the correct usage of quotation marks.
I'm pretty sure the last one is incorrect as it become a constitution monarchy not a ruling power of England.
This novel is one of the first feminist novels, because it was empowering women. There have been several other feminist novels, but this is the very first one.
Kate Chopin wrote the awakening to empower feminism and women, as they are often designated as the weaker gender. I believe that it shows the stronger side of females, and that they are as strong as men are.
