Find the measures of the missing angles (picture attached)

Mathematics
1 answer:
ella [17]3 years ago

Here, sum of all the angles would be equal to 360.
We can see there are two right angles (=90)

So, 90 + 90 + x + 60 = 360
240 + x = 360
x = 360 - 240
x = 120

In short, Your Answer would be 120

Hope this helps!

Two functions are shown below<br><br> f(x)=8x+10<br> g(x)=6x-4<br><br> What is f(4)-g(3)?
N76 [4]

Answer:

c.28

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

f(x) = 8x + 10 and g(x) = 6x - 4

f(4) = 8*4 + 10

    = 32 + 10

    = 42

g(3) = 6 * 3 - 4

      = 18 - 4

      = 14

Now

f(4) - g(3)

= 42 - 14

=28

hope it will help :)

a. The position of a particle is given by x(t) = t3 - 3t2 - 96 +1. For what values oft is the particle at rest?
natita [175]

Answer:

 t = 0 and t = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

It is at rest when the velocity = 0

The velocity is the 1st derivative

So, x'(t) = 3t^2 - 6t = 0

                3t(t - 2) = 0

                  t = 0 and t = 2

A frying pan has a radius of 14 centimeters. What is the circumference of the frying pan? Use 22/7. Please Help!!!
GalinKa [24]
Circumference=2 times pi times radius

if we use 22/7 as pi

2 times 22/7 times 14
multiply them
2 times 22/7=44/7
44/7 times 14=616/7=88
the circumfence=88 cm

Triangle ABC is formed by two parallel lines and two other intersecting lines. Find the measure of each angle A, B, and of the t
Mamont248 [21]

Answer:

<u>A = 61°</u>

<u>B = 72°</u>

<u>C = 47°</u>

Step-by-step explanation:

Well, first of all, we can see that:

61^{\circ}+47^{\circ}+B^{\circ}=180^{\circ}

So, we can find angle B.

B=180^{\circ}-47^{\circ}-61^{\circ}

B=72^{\circ}

Now, we can see to that angle C is just 47°

Finally, we know that the sum of all angles in a triangle is 180°, so we have:

B+A+C=180^{\circ}

A=180^{\circ}-47^{\circ}-72^{\circ}

A=61^{\circ}

I hope it helps you!
