How do the rates at times t1,t2 and t3 differ?

Chemistry

The rate t1 shows the beginning of the reaction, the t2 shows an intermediate point in the reaction, and t3 shows almost the end of the reaction.

What is the reaction rate?

Reaction rate refers to how fast or slow a chemical reaction is completed. In other words, the velocity at which reactants transform into products.

What does T1 show?

At this point the reaction is just starting, this shows:

  • There is a small volume of oxygen (product).
  • The reaction rate is increasing.

What does T2 show?

At this point, we can conclude:

  • There is a higher volume of the product.
  • The rate of the reaction has significantly increased since T1.

What does T3 show?

At this point, we can conclude:

  • Most of the reaction has already occurred because the maximum product volume has been reached.
  • It is expected the reaction rate decrease as the reaction is about to finish.

In any chemical reaction, the rate of the reaction can be increased by
myrzilka [38]

Answer:Increasing the concentration of reactants generally increases the rate of reaction because more of the reacting molecules or ions are present to form the reaction products. This is especially true when concentrations are low and few molecules or ions are reacting.

what property of the noble gases most likely prevented the gases from being readily/easily discovered?
Vlad [161]

These gases very rarely react, with others and also noble gases are odourless and colourless.

Explanation:

  • Noble gases will not react with anything so that is the reason why they are known as an inert gas.
  • Noble gases are present in group 18 on the periodic table and following the rule of the octet which is they completed their orbital by s2p6 which is the highest energy level.
  • Most elements are discovering through their reactivity with the other elements, commonly with oxygen. In the case of a noble gas, it is difficult for a scientist to work with the gases which have very less or no chemical property in terms of their reactivity.

4.5 moles of sodium sulfate contain how many atoms of sulfur
Hatshy [7]
Chemical Formula of Sodium Sulfate is Na₂SO₄.

As we know, 1 mole of any substance contains 6.022 × 10²³ particles. So, 1 mole of Na₂SO₄ also contains 6.022 × 10²³ formula units of Na₂SO₄.
Also,
                     1 mole of Na₂SO₄ contains = 6.022 × 10²³ Atoms of S
So,
4.5 moles of Na₂SO₄ will contain = X atoms of S

Solving for X,
                                X  =  (4.5 moles × 6.022 × 10²³ Atoms) ÷ 1 mole

                                X  =  2.70 × 10²⁴ Atoms of S
Result:
            4.5 Moles
of Na₂SO₄ contains 2.70 × 10²⁴ Atoms of Sulfur.
