In the exercise Maxwell children want to calculate the estimated amount or budget placed on one person coming to the anniversary party for their parents.

The number if guest will be 50 guests

Given data

quoted price = $96 per person

Let the total bill be x

one-fourth of the total bill = 1/4*x

advance payment is $1200 = 1/4x------------1

Let us find the total bill which is x

$1200 = 1/4x

cross multiply

1200*4 = x

x = 4800

if the budget per person is $96

Hence the total expected guest will be = 4800/96

50 guests

Answer:

B

I

Step-by-step explanation:

A triangle's angles must add up to 180

68+90+x=180

158+x=180

22=x

3 and 2 must add up to 180

70+x=180

angle 2= 110

angle 2 and angle 1 have to add up to 180 as well

110+x=180

andgle 1= 70

What is the explicit rule for the geometric sequence? 4.05,1.35,0.45,0.15,...
Anastaziya [24]

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the above sequence is a geometric sequence

For an nth term in a geometric sequence

That's

A(n) = a( {r})^{n - 1}

where

r is the common ratio

a is the first term

n is the number of terms

From the question

a = 4.05

r = 1.35 / 4.05 = 0.33

Substitute the values into the above formula

We have

A(n) = 4.05( {0.33})^{n - 1}

Hope this helps you

Let f(x)=16x^2-x. Find f(x+1)-f(x)
olasank [31]

f(x+1) = 16(x+1)² - (x+1) = 16(x²+2x+1) - x - 1

= 16x² + 32x + 16 - x - 1 = 16x²+31x+15

so

f(x+1)-f(x) = 16x²+31x+15 - (16x² - x)

= 16x²+31x+15 - 16x² + x

= 32x + 15
