A <u>tropical rainforest</u> is an example of an ecosystem with high primary productivity while a <u>desert</u> is an example of an ecosystem with low primary productivity.
This supports the continental drift idea by example: a fossil animal was in one continent and then you find it in another. This is splitting the continents.
