<em>In 1516 Leonardo da Vinci was appointed </em><em>as Premier/First Painter with another titles as Engineer and Architect </em><em>to the King Francis I of France (positions he held until his death). </em>The King of France invited him to live in his country as his honored guest. He also gave him living quarters in a castle not far from Paris and did not require much work of him. At that time Leonardo da Vinci was an old man. It is a fact that the King of France was fond of the great painter and paid him frequent visits (they talk to each other about many subjects).

The Nazis effectively used propaganda to win the support of millions of Germans in a democracy and, later in a dictatorship, to facilitate persecution, war, and ultimately genocide.
