So then we put the 10 cm, around the circle. If we keep doing it, we get 3 full 10 cm around the circle so that

10 + 10 + 10 = 30

or

10 \times 3 = 30

However, we are left with a small fraction of the arc length left, based on mathematicians, that length is approximate 0.14% of the length of the diameter. The length is the diameter is 10 so 0.14% of that is

\frac{14}{100}  =  \frac{x}{10}

140 = 100x

x = 1.4

Now, we add that to 30 so we get

30 + 1.4 = 31.4

So the length or circumference of the circle is 31.4.
