Prove the following assertion: For every game tree, the utility obtained by MAX using minimax decisions against a suboptimal MIN
TiliK225 [7]

Answer:

From the given diagram, consider a MIN node whose children are terminal nodes, if MIN plays

suboptimal. MIN will never be lower than the utility obtained playing against an optimal MIN

MIN will always select a move having minimax utility greater than or equal to the move that is

predicted by the minimax that is the MIN-played optimal value.

Then the MIN node's value is increased to MAX. This is done by induction.

One can do better than the minimax strategy, if the suboptimal play is predicted by MIN.

If MIN always falls for certain for certain kind of trap and losses, then setting up a trap guarantees a win.

The 7-bit ASCII code for the character ‘&amp;’ is: 0100110 An odd parity check bit is now added to this code so 8 bits are trans
Alex787 [66]

Answer

First part:

The transmitted 8-bit sequence for ASCII character '&' with odd parity will be 00100110. Here leftmost bit is odd parity bit.

Second part:

The invalid bit sequence are option a. 01001000 and d. 11100111

Explanation:

Explanation for first part:

In odd parity, check bit of either 0 or 1 is added to the binary number as leftmost bit for making the number of 1s in binary number odd.

If there are even number of 1s present in the original number then 1 is added as leftmost bit to make total number of 1s odd.

If there are odd number of 1s present in the original number then 0 is added as leftmost bit to keep the total number of 1s odd.

Explanation for second part:

A valid odd parity bit sequence will always have odd number of 1s.

Since in option a and d,  total number of 1s are 2 and 6 i.e. even number. Therefore they are invalid odd parity check bit sequences.

And since in option b and c, total number of 1s are 5 and 7 i.e. odd numbers respectively. Therefore they are valid odd parity check bit sequences.

A Chief Security Officer (CSO) has asked a technician to devise a solution that can detect unauthorized execution privileges fro
VikaD [51]

A solution which would best meet the CSO's requirements is: B. Sandboxing.

<h3>What is a sandbox?</h3>

A sandbox can be defined as an isolated environment in a computer system or on a network that is designed and developed to mimic end user operating system (OS) and environments, so as to detect unauthorized execution privileges from the operating system (OS).

In cybersecurity, sandboxing is typically used to safely execute suspicious code and data files without causing any harm to the host device or network. Also, sandboxing can work in conjunction with proxies or unified threat management (UTM).

The first thing that must be done is Thoroughly documenting the state of equipment before it is hidden is critical to adhere to chain-of-custody procedures. Failure to do so will render collected evidence inadmissible.

Security+ can be defined as the entry-level cybersecurity credential offered by the CompTIA non-profit trade association. This is usually the first certification in information security that an IT professional obtains. By having this, you may get more job opportunities, because you are judged as a more competitive candidate.

The CompTIA Security+ exam (SY0-601) is a test that tests an applicant that he or she has the basic knowledge to perform tasks in IT security and work in cybersecurity. The CompTIA Security+ exam is a vendor-neutral exam that tests applicants' knowledge of IT security materials and their ability to perform core security functions.
