Begin a discussion on why a patient’s vital signs might differ at various times during the day. (Stress, excitement, illness, an

d environmental factors may all affect blood pressure.) Most physicians’ offices have the medical assistant take and record the patient’s vital signs and measurements before the physician sees the patient. Ask: Why do you think this is? (It saves the physician time. In addition, patients may be less nervous with the medical assistant than they would be with the physician, because of white-coat syndrome. If any result, other than the temperature is elevated, by the time the physician sees the patient the falsely high reading may also have dropped, because patients tend to become more at ease with time.)

Describe each of the FITT training principles. (Site 1)
Paha777 [63]

Answer:

The F stands for frequency, which is how often a person exercises.

The I stands for intensity, which is the amount of hard work one puts into a particular workout. The intensity can be difficult to balance, since the exercise needs to be difficult so that it overloads the body, but not so much so that it could cause injury.

The first T of the acronym stands for time which is how long the workout session is, which depends on the type of workout.

The T stands for type which is whether one chooses a cardio, strength, or flexibility activity.

The FITT helps many be able to plan their individual fitness plan, which can help them achieve a healthier lifestyle.
