Lady bird [3.3K]

A butterfly can fly 82 feet in 4 seconds.

Distance traveled by butterfly = 82 feet.

Time taken by butterfly =4 seconds

Speed = distance /time

Speed of butterfly = 82/4 = 20.5 feet/second

A dragonfly can fly 50 feet in 2 seconds.

Distance traveled by dragonfly =50 feet.

Time taken by dragonfly =2 seconds.

Speed of dragonfly = 50/2 = 25 feet/second

So dragonfly can fly faster than the butterfly.

Difference in speed = speed of dragonfly - speed of butterfly = 25-20.5 = 4.5

So The dragonfly is 4.5 feet per second faster than butterfly.

Answer: B) The dragonfly is 4.5 feet per second faster.

PLEASE HELP!!
sp2606 [1]
Standard form is just putting (in this case) variables in alphabetical order. First we simplify- 2x+4=4y would become 1/2x+1=y. This is already in standard form, as numbers w/o variables come at the end. simplifying the next one is more tricky. first you get a variable/number alone-
9-2x-2y=4x+3
9-2y=6x+3
6-2y=6x
1-1/3y=x
1=x+1/3y
3=x+y
x+y=3
sorry if I was wrong and not of any help, But I do believe this is correct.

PLEASE HELP MEEEEE!!!!
defon

Answer:

5

Step-by-step explanation:

The leading coefficient is the coefficient with a variable with the greatest exponent.The exponent is the number you would say "the power to". What I mean is let's say you have this number: 3^{2} . The exponent would be 2 in this equation because it's saying what power 3 is too. Therefore, 5 is the leading coefficient.
