Answer with step-by-step explanation:

To solve this, all we have to do is replace x in 2x - 10 with the number from the table.

6: 2(6) - 10 = 2

7: 2(7) - 10 = 4

8: 2(8) - 10 = 6

9: 2(9) - 10 = 8

There you have it! Have a good day :)

A water tank hols 540 galloms but is leaking at a rate of 4 gallons per week a second water tank holds 720 gallons but is leakin
Murrr4er [49]
Let after n week both tanks have same quantity of water .

for first tank
=============
tank hold 540 gallon of water ,
leaking of water 4 gallon /week
so, in n week water leak from the tank =4× n = 4n

now, after n week quantity of water in the tank = 540 -4n

for second tank
==============
quantity of water in the tank =720 gallon
leaking of water at the rate = 7gallon/week
so, after n week water leak from the tank = 7× n =7n

after n week quantity of water rest in the tank = 720 -7n

now ,
according to question ,

water in first tank = water in second tank
540 -4n = 720 -7n

7n -4n = 720 -540

3n = 180

n = 60

hence , after 60 week both tank have same quantity of water.

Pls help due soon ty
Feliz [49]
The first table : y=4x
the second table: y=1.5x
the third table: y= 1.25x

if you want help on how to do it: plug each of those equations into the “desmos” graph! from looking at those table points (x,y) you can find which equation matches the table

for instance on table one: I put y=4x into desmos then looked at graph one, I chose the point (2,8) I went to 2 on the x axis and moved my finger up 8 and that point was directly on the line meaning that table matches the equation. be sure to also do the same thing with the other points to double check!

Janet is painting her shed. She buys some gallon-sized paint cans that cost $15 each and 2 quart-sized paint cans that cost $4 e
blondinia [14]

1 gallon cost $15

1 quarts cost $4

1 quarts = 1/4 gallon

15x for number of gallon cans

2 cans at $4 each = $8

15x + 8 = 53

Subtract 8 from both sides:

15x = 53-8

15x = 45

Divide both sides by 15:

x = 45/15

x = 3

She bought 3 gallon cans of paint

Plus she bought 2 quart cans, which is equal to a half gallon.

She bought a total of 3.5 gallons of paint.
