I find that most domestic abusers are accustomed to generational trauma. Some might be personality disordered, but not all. I think it’s more of a “tradition” so to say. They watched their parents abuse each other and them, then they carry it on, because it’s what’s known.

Antisocial personality disorder has records of violent behavior since childhood. Such patients are not only perpetrators of domestic violence, but also producers of social violence. Not only do they often beat their wives or children, they also threaten their spouses not to divorce. Impulsive personality disorder often manifests itself as violent behaviors because of some trivial things. Once their spouses filed for a divorce, they would cry bitterly or threaten to death.

Domestic violence men have emotional disorders

Manic patients in affective disorders have no violent behaviors during normal time, but tend to be violent when the condition is severe, but they tend to disappear quickly. The consequences of violence in patients with depression are more serious

Uncertainty Reduction Theory is also called as initial interaction theory. It is a one kind of a communication theory that takes into account the initial interaction between two people before the actual communication. The theory suggests that people should acquire information about the other person before developing any uncertainty about them.

When acquiring such information, people are able to predict the behavior and resulting actions of others, which in theory's perspective is difficult in forming any kind of a relationship.
