Legal rights for women expanded in Europe and the United States during the 19th century since women became more likely to win custody of children after a divorce.

From 1861 – 1911 the number of successful divorces rose from 141 to 801 (respectively).

Child custody is a legal term which refers to guardianship which is used to describe the legal and practical relationship between a parent or guardian and a child in that person's care. Child custody consists of legal custody, which is the right to make decisions about the child, and physical custody, which is the right and duty to house, provide and care for the child.

What did foreign changes present new challenges for the United States
Drupady [299]
There were lots of foreign changes that presented challenges for the US. I'll give you a few examples from different time periods. First would be when England wanted to tax the Americans in the Revolutionary period. They did this to try and restrict America's freedom. Another example would be that Russia had spies during the cold war period. This was to gain intelligence of the US war plans. Also when Germany sent the Zimmerman Telegram to Mexico during the WWII period. This was to get Mexico to launch a surprise attack on the US.

- What would happen to the demand to travel to the Bahamas if the country
coldgirl [10]

Answer:

The demand will go down

Explanation:

Keep in mind that a economic depression is a downturn of economic activity which means your business will slow down which means you won't be bringing in much income through the depression. So, what will happen to the demand of trips to the Bahamas if the country is experiencing a economic depression? "There will be a huge reduction in trips so the demand will fall." The primary thing business owners will focus on during a economic  depression is making sure they're bringing in enough income to get them by, and making sure their assets are safe.

Hope this helps.

1. Two people have an argument. You hear two versions of what happened, one from one of the participants and the other from a fr
Scrat [10]

Answer:

One of the participants.

Explanation:

I would most likely believe the participant because they were there and experienced the fight. So therefore they would have the more trustworthy information because they would know first hand what happened. The friend would be less trustworthy, or a 50/50 chance of a true answer because they could be lying or adding to what actually happened to create drama.
