Four as a fraction is four over one
So 8/56-4/1 is the set up
The least common multiple of 56 and one is 56 multiply the numerator and denominator of each fraction by whatever value will result in the denominator of each fraction being equal to the least common multiple
56

8/56-4/1
=8/56-4/1 4 multiply 56 and 1 multiply 56 (4/1 times n and d by 56)
=8/56-224/56
=8-subtract 224/56
=negative -216/56
=-216/56 divide -216 by 8 and 56 by 8
=-27/7
Which as a mixed number is -3 and 6/7
Hope this helps , if so mark as brainalist pls !

Answer:

-28/7

Step-by-step explanation:

First we need to make both denominators the same.

We can simplify the fraction on the left by dividing the top and bottom by 8.

This gives us;

⇒ \frac{1}{7}

To make the denominator of 4, 7 as well multiply 4 by 7;

⇒ \frac{28}{7}

Now this is easy as you can just subtract the numerators;

⇒ \frac{1}{7} - \frac{28}{7} = -\frac{27}{7}

Write in standard form: a line through the origin with slope 2/3
nordsb [41]

Answer:

y = 2/3x

Step-by-step explanation:

Slope-intercept formula: y = mx + b

m = 2/3 because the slope is 2/3.

b = 0 because the y value of the origin is 0, as the point is at (0, 0).

That makes y = 2/3x + 0, but adding zero does nothing so you take it out to get y = 2/3x.
