The correct option is (B).24 miles.

Z-score is basically another term for the specific number of standard deviations. I suppose we can assume normality here, even though it isn't given, so I'd make a rough sketch.

Otherwise, just use the basic formula:

z_{score} =\dfrac{x-\mu}{\sigma}

 Given that,

\bar{x}=29 (statistic for a mean) and s=3.6 (statistic for a standard deviation).

Since z-score must be Less than 1.5, So

1.5> \dfrac{x-29}{3.6}\\

1.5 \times3.6 > x-29\\5.4+29> x\\34.4> x

I just used normal cdf and got 23.6.

Hence the correct option is (B).24 miles.

SUMMARY: how can you use mapping rules to find rotations of objects at 90, 180, and 270 degrees?
Levart [38]

A rotation is an isometric transformation that turns every point of a figure through a specified angle and direction about a fixed point.

To describe a rotation, you need three things:

Direction (clockwise CW or counterclockwise CCW)

Angle in degrees

Center point of rotation (turn about what point?)

The most common rotations are 180° or 90° turns, and occasionally, 270° turns, about the origin, and affect each point of a figure as follows:

Please help I don’t understand math
andrew-mc [135]

Answer:

x = 12

Step-by-step explanation:

The sum of the two smaller angles is 140

80+5x = 140

Subtract 80 from each side

80+5x-80 =140-80

5x = 60

Divide each side by 5

5x/5 = 60/5

x = 12

How many different primes make up the prime factor for 180
andre [41]
When we prime factorize, we get 180=2^2*3^2*5. So therefore there are 3 prime factors that make up 180.
