Answer:

The answer is 4!!

Step-by-step explanation:

A Passport picture is normally in the rectangular formation meaning, if the width of the top of the passport picture is 3, then the bottom is 3 as well.

That lets you figure out, since perimeter is all sides added together, 3+3 = 6 so 6 is both widths combine.

With this 6 in mind, if the perimeter of the entire passport is 14cm, and you have 6cm as both widths combine, now you need to find the length of this object.

Now here, since 6 is both widths combined, simply here you do 14cm - 6cm which is 8.

8 is the total length, meaning both sides added. See now that is the answer if you are finding out the total length (which is ha not the question).

Since you are trying to find only 1 side of the length, since there are 2 sides, you do 8 divided by 2, and BAM you get which is actually your answer as well!

PS. I don't even know if this is right though it should be right, use a calculator if you are doubtful :D

So car A travels Distance = 60 km/hr*(1+x)

Car B travels Distance = 75 km/hr(x)

Where x is the time in hours.

Those two equations are equal when on overtakes the other

so:

60 +60x = 75x

60=15x

x=4, but my expression is written to count from when car B commenced travel. So total time is 5 hours from the car A setting off.

Write many equations that are equal to the equation 2x+4=x-4.
Jobisdone [24]

Answer:

x = -8

4x + 8 = 2x - 8

3x + 4 = 2x - 4

2x + 16 = x + 8

x - 1 = 2x + 7

17x + 36 = 16x + 28

13x + 2 = 12x + 11

.......

(this is infinite)

As long as it cancels out to x = -8

Explain how to find the LCM of 5 and 6.
enyata [817]

For the lowest common multiple you do your times tables.

For example,5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45,50.

Those are your times tables of 5.

On the other side do your 6 times tables up to 60.

6,12,18,24,30,36,42,48,54,60.

Now that you have got both,Write down the smallest number in them that they both have.

For example,it would be 30.

This is because that’s the smallest number in the multiple of both numbers.
