  • So, it is an isosceles triangle.
  • So, the two opposite sides to the equal angles will be equal.
  • Therefore, XY = YZ

\begin{gathered}15 = 4x + 3 \\ = > 4x = 15 - 3 \\ = > 4x = 12 \\ = > x = 3\end{gathered} 15=4x+3=>4x=15−3=>4x=12=>x=3

  • Therefore, YZ = 4x + 3 = 4(3) + 3 = 12 + 3 = 15
