Answer: C 78 units

Step-by-step explanation:

If two quadrilaterals are similar, that means that they must have a scale factor that makes one of the figures bigger proportionally, so we can find the scale factor by taking to corresponding sides and dividing the bigger one over the smaller one...

YZ/QS = 13/4 = 3.25 (scale factor)

Now we can multiply the smaller sides by 3.25 to find any sides that we don't know the size of (for the bigger quadrilateral).

PQ * 3.25 = 9 x 3.25 = 29.25 (XY)

PR * 3.25 = 3 x 3.25 = 9.75 (XW)

Add the lengths together to get the perimeter...

XY + XW + WZ + YZ = 29.25 + 9.75 + 26 + 13 = 78 units

*remember to use scale factor to find the lengths or measurements for proportionally bigger figures... :D

A) Both terms contain x, so they can be combined. -25 + 36 = 11 therefore -25x + 36x = 11x
B) 7s and 3s both contain s, so they can be combined, but the 3 cannot be combined with them as it does not contain an s. 7 - 3 = 4 therefore 7s - 3s = 4s. The 3 stays on its own as it cannot be combined, therefore the answer is 4s + 3
C) 12x and 2x contain x, so they can be combined, but the 11 cannot be combined with them as it does not contain an x. 12 - 2 = 10 therefore 12x - 2x = 10x. The 11 stays on its own as it cannot be combined, therefore the answer is 10x - 11

Lim x->0 of tan6x/sin2x ?
jonny [76]
The limit of the function tan 6x/sin 2x as x approaches zero is determined by first substituting x by zero. This is equal to zero over zero which is indeterminate. Using L'hopital's rule, we derive each term in the numerator and denominator separately. This is equal to 6 sec^2 x / 2 cos 2x. when substituted with zero again, the limit is 1/2.

Name the postulate or theorem you can use to prove the triangles congruent.
Maru [420]

Answer:

You can use the ASA Postulate to prove the Angle-Angle-Side Congruence Theorem. A flow proof is shown below. If two angles and a nonincluded side of one triangle are congruent to two angles and the corresponding nonincluded side of another triangle, then the triangles are congruent.
