The x and y-intercept are given as:

x-intercept (x,y) : (30, 0)

y-intercept (x,y) : (0, 50)

Let the general admission ticket be x

Let the student ID ticket be y

If concert tickets cost $15 for general admission, but only $9 with a student ID, this can be expressed as 15x + 9y

If the total sales is $450, the equation becomes 15x + 9y = 450

The x-intercept occurs at y = 0

15x + 9(0) = 450

15x = 450

x = 30

The x-intercept is at (30, 0)

The y-intercept occurs at x = 0

15(0) + 9y = 450

9y = 450

y = 450/9

The y-intercept is at (0, 50)

You can exchange 25 U.S. Dollars for 20 Euros. What is the exchange rate in U.S. Dollars per Euro?
Leokris [45]

Disclaimer: Exchange rates vary almost on a constant basis, so it is best to always have an up-to-date chart from an online source. For the purposes of this problem, we don't have to worry about the rates changing.

------------------

25 U.S Dollars = 20 Euros

25/20 U.S. Dollars = 20/20 Euros

1.25 U.S. Dollars = 1 Euro

The exchange rate is 1.25 U.S. Dollars per Euro

Saying "per Euro" is the same as saying "per 1 Euro". I divided both sides of the second equation by 20 so that I could turn the "20 Euros" into "1 Euro".

if a company has 5 employees with annual saleries of $40,000, $50,000, $40,000, $60,000 and $90,000 what is the mean anulal sala
krek1111 [17]
To find the mean of something, add all the numbers then divide by the number of numbers there are.
40,000 + 50,000 + 40,000 + 60,000 + 90,000 = 280,000
Then divide:
280,000/5 = 56,000

The mean of the annual salaries at the company is 56,000

Hope this helped! If you have anymore questions or don't understand, please comment or DM me. :)

erma4kov [3.2K]

In first 40 hours he earns = 7.30 x 40 = $292
Each hour after his rate = 7.20 x 1.5 = $10.80 per hour
In extra four hours he earns = 10.80 x 4 = $43.20

Total earnings = $292 + $43.20 = $335.20

The percentage profit earned by selling a watch for Nu 1920 is equal to the percent loss incurred by selling the same watch for
dimaraw [331]

Answer:

2,000

Step-by-step explanation:

The computation of the price that should be sold for making 25% profit is shown below:

Let cost price be x

Now the equation would be

(1,920 - x) ÷ x × 100 = (x - 1,280) ÷ x × 100

1,920 - x = x - 1,280

2x = 3,200

x = 1,600

Now the sale price would be

= 1,600 × 1.25

= 2,000
