Mutability, by Percy Bysshe Shelley lengthy analysis
ivann1987 [24]

Mutability is a poem written in 1816 by Percy Bysshe Shelley. He was a poem writer from the Romantic period. The term mutability refers to changes, so, it is probable that Shelley wanted to express the idea that people do not have complete power over the changes or mutations that might occur in their lives. During the poem, the writer uses a variety of literary devices to express his ideas. He also employs a sombre tone.

Shelley wrote 'Mutability' at a particular moment in his life. He wrote it in 1816 when his first child Mary was born. That made it even more significant for him. During the same year he also experience two difficult moments, financial problems and the suicide of his wife. All these events influenced the poem.

In at least 150 words, identify and explain four ways you can use context clues to determine the meanings of unfamiliar words th
levacccp [35]

Context clues are the clues that are given by the author to the readers to try and understand meaning of difficult words in context to the text.

Explanation:

Context clues are the hints which are given to the readers of the text by the author to try and understand the meaning of the difficult words keeping in mind the context of the text.

The clue may appear in the same line itself in which the word is. Just because the vocabulary that we gain comes from the reading that we do, we must take advantage of the context clues while we are reading to improve our vocabulary.
