From reading the book the power of feminity, In the first paragraph, we see the author describing “the art of being feminine” from her innocent and untroubled thoughts as a child and how she “loved being a little girl” back then because people saw her as a fairy princess and thus she was greatly loved as a result.
Now, In the second paragraph, the author is describing her later experience of femininity as being a “surprisingly inconsistent” set of rules that represented a “challenge” that had to be mastered to enable her follow passionately after her huge ambitions in life.
In the two paragraphs, we see two different attitudes toward her femininity.
