Answer: Option C; manage natural resources responsibly

Explanation: Natural resources are of two types broadly- renewable and non-renewable. Currently, we have technology which uses non-renewable resources [coal, petrol] more as compared to renewable resources [wind, sun]. That's why pressure on fulfilling the needs is very high on non-renewable resources. If these resources are not used responsibly, it will lead to their exhaustion. Nothing would be left for future generations. More focus should be laid on using these resources efficiently and developing technology which can use renewable resources at affordable price.

gulaghasi [49]

Answer:

b. smoking can paralyze the ciliary escalator.

Explanation

Generally cilia in the respiratory tract of smoker will undergo paralysis for 1-3 hours after smoking, and generally paralyzed in chronic smokers.

This is because the toxins( the TAR) in the cigarette destroy the mucocilliary escalator that trapped inhaled pathogens in air as it passes through the bronchi and push them up with phlegm out of the respiratory tract.

Therefore ,with the loss of cilirary function, pathogens are retained in the lungs leading to respiratory tract infections
