I think it’s D because since more people were coming to the US there was less place for everyone so they started going south for everyone to live and work. I’m not positive though

Answer:

Jamestown offered anchorage and a good defensive position. Warm climate and fertile soil allowed large plantations to prosper. Plymouth provided good anchorage and an excellent harbor. Cold climate and thin, rocky soil limited farm size.

Answer: Before the Berlin Conference, there were 2 main territories controlled by European powers, those being:

  • The Congo Free State.
  • Cape Colony.

The rest of the territories (about 80% of it) were controlled by Africa´s native tribes.

Some of the biggest independent territories were Soudan, Algeria and Egypt.
