Answer:

\huge\boxed{\sf P = 79.5\°}

Explanation:

Given that:

ΔMNO ≅ ΔPQR

That means

M ↔ P

N ↔ Q

O ↔ R

So,

∠P ≅ ∠M

Given that P = 3x + 20.4 and M = 5x - 19

3x + 20.4 = 5x - 19

Add 19 to both sides

3x + 20.4 + 19 = 5x

3x + 39.4 = 5x

Subtract 3x to both sides

39.4 = 5x - 3x

39.4 = 2x

2x = 39.4

Divide both sides by 2

x = 19.7

Given that:

P = 3x + 20.4

P = 3(19.7) + 20.4            (x = 19.7)

P = 59.1 + 20.4

P = 79.5°

\rule[225]{225}{2}

Hope this helped!

What is the function of lipoprotein lipase?
scZoUnD [109]

Answer:

Hydrolysis of triglycerides in lipoproteins

Explanation:

Lipoprotein lipase is a water-soluble enzyme which includes pancreatic lipase, hepatic lipase, and endothelial lipase.

Enzymes involved in triacylglycerol digestion are lipases and they catalyze the partial hydrolysis of triglycerides into a mixture of free fatty acids and acylglycerols. After digestion of lipids, monoglycerides and fatty acids associate with bile salts and phopholipids to form micelles. Micelles are structures that are necessary for the transport the poorly soluble monoglycerides and fatty acids to the surface of the enterocyte. But, micelles cannot be absorbed by epithelial cell, only freely dissolved monoglycerides and fatty acids can.

1) If a person has sex chromosomes: XXY, what is their gender?
sammy [17]

Answer:

1. Klinefelter syndrome

2. Nobody can be born with a single X chromosome

Explanation:

1. A genetic condition in which a male is born with an extra copy of the X chromosome

Klinefelter's syndrome isn't inherited, but rather occurs only as a result of a random genetic error after conception.

Males born with Klinefelter's syndrome may have low testosterone and reduced muscle mass, facial hair and body hair. Most males with this condition produce little or no sperm,

2. Sex chromosome occurs due to combination of the X and Y chromosome of both parents.
