I would say that (d) is the correct answer because the section between x=4 and x=6 is not linear but exponential but it is still increasing. The section between x=1 and x=3 however is linear and therefore his answer is incorrect.

12. The $60 selling price of a camera is the cost<br> increased by twice the cost. Find the cost.
prisoha [69]

Answer: Assuming you mean that the original cost was doubled and now equals $60, the camera costed $30. Assuming the camera's price has been doubled from $60, it is $120. The wording is a bit unclear, so I'm giving you both answers.

Step-by-step explanation: To find half of the price of $60, simply divide it by 2, which gives you $30.

Can you guys help me with this question. -4(2x-7)&lt;10-2x Write the solution in the form x ? A, where ? Represents the correct
Tema [17]

Answer:

x > 3

Step-by-step explanation:

You have the following inequality:

-4(2x-7)

In order to obtain the solution for x, you first apply distribution property in the left term of the inequality:

-4(2x)-4(-7)

Next, you sum 2x on both sides, and you subtract 28 on both sides too:

-8x+2x+28-28

(where you have simplifies similar terms)

Finally, you divide the inequality for -6, but you take into account that the inequality symbol change (because the operation with a negative term):

\frac{-6x}{-6}3

hence, the solution to the inequality is x > 3
