Guys help me please ,how to solve it? i need a solution
Ludmilka [50]

Answer:

well, x = 5

Step-by-step explanation:

here,

EB Is parallel to DC , so

Angle AEB = Angle ADE

( because they are corresponding angle pair )

Angle ABE = Angle ACD

( because they are corresponding angle pair )

triangle ADC Is similar to triangle AEB

(By AA similarity criteria )

hence AE / ED = AB / BC ( by CPCT )

so 24/10 = 12/x

=》 24/12= 10/x

=》 x = 5

okay i hope u got it

Which statement is true about the equations-3x 4y 12 and tx 1?
nydimaria [60]

We need to solve -3x+4y=12 for x

Let's start by adding -4y to both sides

-3x+4y-4y=12-4y

-3x=-4y+12

x = (-4y+12)/-3

x= 4/3 y -4

Now substitute 4/3 y -4 for x in 1/4 x - 1/3 y =1

1/4 x -1/3 y =1

1/4 (4/3 y -4) -1/3 y =1

Use the distributive property

(1/4)(4/3 y) + (1/4)(-4) -1/3 y =1

1/3 y -1 - 1/3 y =1

Now combine like terms

(1/3y -1/3y) + (-1) =1

= -1

-1 = 1

Now add 1 to both sides

0=2

So there are no Solutions

The answer is C

I hope that's help Will :)

For area A, the width will be √(3A/4), so for the three rugs, the widths are 6 ft, 9 ft, 12 ft. Corresponding lengths are 4/3 times that, so are 8 ft, 12 ft, 16 ft.

The rug dimensions are
.. 6 ft x 8 ft
.. 9 ft x 12 ft
.. 12 ft x 16 ft

Pick the one(s) that are on your list.

Which line has the equation 2x - 3y = 6?<br> (Please explain how you got your answer)
notsponge [240]
First, isolate y:
2x - 3y = 6
-3y = -2x + 6
3y = 2x - 6
y = 2/3x - 2
That means that the line passes through the point (0, -2) and has a positive slope of 2/3. So it would be choice A because the line in choice A passes through the point (1, -2) and has a positive slope. Choice D also passes through the point (0, -2) but has a negative slope so it cannot be the correct answer.
Choice A is correct.
