Answer:

okay im sorry but i can only help with the first page so im going to use the first equation as an example. when it tells you what x equals in this case four you put it in place of the variable and put it all together and see if those two numbers egual the amount given. so here it written out:

x +11=15 x= 4

4+ 11 + 15.

in this case yes the given numbers equal the amount.

really hope this helped you!

Let 3x^2+kx+4. determine all values of k such that the quadratic equation f(x) =0 has one real root
user100 [1]
//I'll use the discriminant rule for this.
b^2 - 4ac = 0 when one real root

Therefore, k^2 - 4*3*4= 0
k^2 = 48
k= +-4√3

Two ships are sailing parallel to each other. The path of one ship is represented on a coordinate plane as the line y = –1/3x +
AfilCa [17]
(0,6)

parallel lines have the same slope (-1/3 in this case) so the equations will have the same slope

the line y=-1/3x+6 passes through (3,5)
any point on that line is a valid answer but for an example (0,6) which is the y-intercept

(5,5)

(5,-3)
(-1, -3)
What are coordinates of the circumcenter?
lutik1710 [3]

The coordinate of the given figure is (5,5) (5,-3) and (-1, -3). The coordinates of the circumcenter of the triangle is (2,1).

What is a triangle?

A triangle is a polygon that has three sides and three vertices. It is one of the basic figures in geometry.

We can see the given triangle.

The coordinates of A are (-1,-3).

The coordinates of B are (-1,-3).

The coordinates of C are(5,5).

We know that the circumcenter of a right triangle is the midpoint of the hypotenuse.

Mid-point of hypotenuse AC is given by

x = x_1 +x_2 / 2\\y = y_1 +y_2 / 2

So, x =( -1 + 5)/2 = 2

y =( 5-3)/2 = 1

Hence, the circumcenter of the triangle is (2,1).
