How do you think the Native Americans Lewis and Clark encountered felt about them?
Alex17521 [72]

Answer:

Brainiest

Explanation:

While Lewis and Clark were the first Americans to see much of what would become the western United States, those same lands had long been occupied by native peoples.

Over the course of the expedition, the Corps of Discovery would come into contact with nearly 50 Native American tribes. Quickly, the captains learned how many different definitions there really were for the word “Indian.” The Mandans lived in earth lodges, farmed corn, and were amenable to trade with America. The Teton Sioux slept in tepees, hunted buffalo, and guarded their territory fiercely against anyone who passed through, whether foreign or Indian. Some tribes had never seen a white or black man before Lewis and Clark. Others spoke bits of English and wore hats and coats they received from European sea captains.

How did the Soviet Union’s system of government help to create conflict with the United States after World War II?
Varvara68 [4.7K]

The answer is A. The Soviet system of government did not allow its people to choose their own leaders, which the United States thought was wrong.

Explanation:

After the Second World War differences between the United States and the Soviet Union increased which led to the Cold War from 1947 to 1991, besides a competence for showing which country that was superior in terms of military force, science and spatial capability, this conflict emerged due to the difference in terms of government. Indeed, in the Soviet Union, the government was based on socialism and totalitarianism, which meant citizens did not participate in a political decision or chose their leaders.

On the opposite, the U.S. had a democratic system and due to this, promoted the idea of democracy in all countries and believed the system of the Soviet Union was wrong or morally incorrect. Thus, the government in the Soviet Union supported this conflict because "The Soviet system of government did not allow its people to choose their own leaders, which the United States thought was wrong".

Just with #1 this is missing and I need help
nexus9112 [7]

Answer:

For the Aztecs, the enviroment was more benevolent. The aztecs inhabited Central Mexico which is a highland area where temperatures are mild. Soils are also very fertile because they are volcanic. The biggest challenge they had to face was precisely the active volcanoes that sorround the Central Valley of Mexico.

For the Mayans, the enviroment was more unforgiving. They inhabited a lowland tropical jungle with high humidity and temperatures all-year round. The soils were not very fertile either.

It has been theorized that the Mayan civilization disappeared because of deforestation, which led to a rise of temperatures and a general worsening of enviromental conditions.
