The phalanx was arectangular<span> mass military </span>formation<span>, usually composed entirely of </span>heavy infantry<span> armed with </span>spears<span>, </span>pikes<span>, </span>sarissas<span>, or similar </span>weapons<span>. The term is particularly and originally used to describe the use of this formation in </span>Ancient Greek warfare<span>, although the ancient Greek writers used it to also describe any massed infantry formation, regardless of its equipment.</span>

They could spread their beliefs and society (God) to whomever they encountered, making them "less savage," they would gain glory just for conquering new lands and expanding their empires, and they could achieve riches by taking the lands they found for their own personal use and resource collection.
It was met with opposition but Wilson was determined to
establish such an organization to prevent another great war from happening
again. Unfortunately, many in the Senate
disapprove of the proposal but Wilson still wanted this to come true. He became ill as a result and this led to his
