What type of incentives appeal to someone’s concern about a cause?
Lunna [17]

Answer:

B: Purposive incentives

Explanation:

 Purposive incentives appeal to someone's concern about a cause  because they feel satisfaction about taking part of something they believe in and agree with, and it is based on ideologial principles and ethical beliefs .  It's a benefit for them because everyone needs some kind of reward, but it does not come necessarily in form of material rewards or bonus.

Which of the following tasks would be the best way to improve Benny’s sociability? a. Ask him to complete a chore every night. b
n200080 [17]

Answer: c. Ask him to talk to people twice a day.

Sociability refers to the ability a person has to "be sociable," or to interact well with other people. People who lack this skill are often called "introverts." Sociability is a very valued skill among humans as we are a species that relies heavily on cooperation among members of a group. A person can improve his or her sociable skills by trying to interact with others frequently and in different settings.

A 3-year-old child exhibited some early indication of Turner syndrome, which results from a 45,X chromosome composition. Karyoty
quester [9]

Answer:

The answer is mitotic nondisjunction of X Chromosomes.

Explanation:

Nondisjunction is a type of error that occurs resulting in daughter cells with chromosome numbers that are abnormal (aneuploidy). Due to the error in chromosome numbers, it gives rise to conditions such as Down Syndrome (Trisomy 21) and Turner Syndrome (Monosomy X). Nondisjunction can be caused by;

1. Failure of separation to occur in a pair of homologous chromosome during meiosis I.

2. Failure of separation between sister chromatids in Meiosis II.

3. Failure of separation between sisters chromatids in mitosis.

This gives the 45,X in Turner syndrome. The other X chromosome is partly or completely missing. Hence, the female is born with only one X chromosome.
