Answer:

x = 23 , y = 7 , z = 11

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the triangles are congruent then corresponding sides and angles are congruent , then

PS = CH , that is

2x - 7 = 39 ( add 7 to both sides )

2x = 46 ( divide both sides by 2 )

x = 23

∠ R = ∠ F = 90° , that is

13y - 1 = 90 ( add 1 to both sides )

13y = 91 ( divide both sides by 13 )

y = 7

Then

The sum of the 3 angles in Δ PRS = 180° , that is

∠ S + 90° + 28° = 180°

∠ S + 118° = 180° ( subtract 118° from both sides )

∠ S = 62°

Now ∠ H = ∠ S , that is

6z - 4 = 62 ( add 4 to both sides )

6z = 66 ( divide both sides by 6 )

z = 11

answer:

90 degrees + 28 degrees= 118 degrees

180-118= Z is 62 degrees

13y-1 = 24                                     2x-7 = 39

+1           +1                                          +7     +7

13y = 25                                          2x = 46

/13      /13                                           /2     /2

y = 1.92                                            X = 23

Suppose each of 12 players rolls a pair of dice 3 times. Find the probability that at least 4 of the players will roll doubles a
polet [3.4K]

Answer:

Our answer is 0.8172

Step-by-step explanation:

P(doubles on a single roll of pair of dice) =(6/36) =1/6

therefore P(in 3 rolls of pair of dice at least one doubles)=1-P(none of roll shows a double)

=1-(1-1/6)3 =91/216

for 12 players this follows binomial distribution with parameter n=12 and p=91/216

probability that at least 4 of the players will get “doubles” at least once =P(X>=4)

=1-(P(X<=3)

=1-((₁₂ C0)×(91/216)⁰(125/216)¹²+(₁₂ C1)×(91/216)¹(125/216)¹¹+(₁₂ C2)×(91/216)²(125/216)¹⁰+(₁₂ C3)×(91/216)³(125/216)⁹)

=1-0.1828

=0.8172

What is the mean of the data set?
andre [41]
You find the mean by adding each value then dividing the sum by the number of values there were so in this case you'd say 301 + 222 + 287 + 310 + 346 which is 1466 then divide by 5 because there are 5 values and your answer is 293.2!

I hope this helps
