Answer:

10.64%

Explanation:

For computing the realized yield, we applied the RATE formula i.e to be shown in the attachment below:

Given that,

Present value = $980

Future value or Face value = $1,054.36

PMT = 1,000 × 10% ÷ 2 = $50

NPER = 10 years × 2 = 20 years

The formula is shown below:

= Rate(NPER;PMT;-PV;FV;type)

The present value come in negative

After applying the formula, the realized yield is

= 5.32% × 2

= 10.64%

Explanation:

Cost benefit analysis involves comparism between the cost incurred by doing an activity and the benefit to be derived. For example if the cost of buying a machine is $100 and the revenue I can realise from it is $500 then the benefits outweighs the cost.

In this instance the software package permits an organization to offer its customers expanded services, therefore there is an opportunity to increase revenue.

b) Adam has $0 remaining basis in his partnership interest due to the fact that all the money or cash he received in the partnership distribution is allocated in outside basis and not within basis.

c) Alyssa has not recognized any gain or loss from the current distribution due to the fact that the cash Alyssa received in distribution is fully adjusted in the outside basis.

d) After adjusting the money received against the outside basis the remaining outside basis of $4,000 will be adjusted by property, which is why Alyssa will assign $4,000 basis to the property.
