how doctor would respond to him patients. how do cells repair themselves? what are the different organelles that make up our cel
Alex17521 [72]
Cells can repair themselves in a molecular level through its DNA and the process involve, either the old damage cells are renewed and resynthesized by new ones as cell divides and undergoes such division.

Organelles are tiny parts of a cell, in analogy are like organs. They perform various tasks vital for a cell to survive. They deliver information, send nutrients and excrete waste and protect cells from antibodies and other microorganisms that could and possible harm the cell itself.
Cells repair themselves through the process of cell division and mitotic process. Mitosis occurs more in your body since it changes, modifies and requires cell division at maximum rate in many useful situations with the stand to a particular system and organ. Mitosis and meiosis are simply cell division processes that occurs differently, they're characteristically divergent from each other according to their function and structure.

what are two characteristics a bird population must have to survive a rise in temperature? in what way are they likely to change
Ad libitum [116K]

Answer:

1. Heat tolerance: This will allow birds to maintain a body temperature around 10 degrees below the high air temperature.

2. Thermoregulation capabilities: Having thermoregulatory plasticity allows birds to adapt to warm conditions by increasing their evaporation rate and, therefore, increasing heat loss.

Explanation:

Today, it is extremely important for fauna to adapt to high temperatures that will become the "new normal" because of climate change and global warming.

Some species of birds have the ability to thermoregulate by behavioral or physiological processes. This will allow them to cope with increased temperatures and adapt to new climates. Other birds, however, are not able to withstand high temperatures, which could lead to high mortality and, therefore, increased population declines.

To adapt to these conditions birds should have a high heat tolerance threshold, this will allow birds to maintain a body temperature around 10 to 15 degrees below the high air temperature. For example, if the air temperature is around 30 ºC, their body temperature could remain below 20 ºC.

Also, they should have thermoregulation capabilities or plasticity. This means that through different methods, such as reducing metabolism or increasing their evaporation rate, they will be able to cope by losing or exchaning heat with the environment.
