1 4/10
Answer: Convert 6 3/10 gallons of milk to 6.3 to make the steps to solve more easier ( not saying that you should do this every time) and 4 1/2 gallons of ice cream into 4.2. The reason why I say this bc 3 divided by 10 is equal to 0.30 and you add that to six. Same thing for the gallons of ice cream, divide 1 by 2 which is 0.5 and add that to six. Your equation afterwards should look like this : 6.3/4.5
The final answer to this equation is 1 4/10 because 6.3/4.5 = 1.4 ——> 1 4/10

If the ratio of three angles of a triangle is 2:3:4 find the size of the largest angle
Murljashka [212]
Answer: 80°

Step-by-Step Explanation:

By Angle Sum Property of a Triangle, all angles in a Triangle add up to 180°

Finding the Value of ‘x’ :-

2x + 3x + 4x = 180
5x + 4x = 180
9x = 180
x = 180/9
=> x = 20

Finding each Angle :-

2x = 2(20) = 2 * 20 = 40°
3x = 3(20) = 3 * 20 = 60°
4x = 4(20) = 4 * 20 = 80°

Hence, the Largest Angle is 80°

Step-by-step explanation:

Facts

MARY

8% commision on everything she sells

She sells a car for $14,500

The first question about Mary asks how much commision she makes. To find that, lets find 8% of 14,500

8% of 14,500= 0.08x14,500= 1160

Therefore, Mary makes $1,160 in commision.

STEVEN

Facts

He makes 15% in commision for the supplies he sells

He sells $950 in supplies

Money made =?

15% of 950=0.15x950=$142.50

A set of physics exam scores are normally distributed with a mean of 80 points and a standard deviation of 6
Anuta_ua [19.1K]

Answer:

The proportion of exam scores that are lower than Irina's score is 0.9938

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

 • mean: 80 points
 • standard deviation (sd): 6 points
 • value of interest (x): 95 points

z-score is computed as follows:

z = (x - mean)/sd

z = (95 - 80)/6 = 2.5

We want to find:

P(z < 2.5)

From the table attached:

P(z < 2.5) = 0.9938
