What Major factors determines the Stage that a star completes in its cycle
Vanyuwa [196]

The major factor that determines the stage that a star completes in its cycle is done by its mass.

Explanation:

The life cycle of star is determined by its mass. The mass of the star is calculated by the amount of matter that is present in the nebula.

At first star begins is life as a cloud of dust and gas known as nebula. A protostar is formed while the gravity caused the dust and gas of a nebula to combine together in a process called accretion. If the protostar reaches the critical temperature then nuclear fusion begins and star is born.

The stars die because they exhaust their nuclear fuel. If there is no fuel left, the star collapses and the outer layer explode as a 'supernova'.

There are seven stages of a star they are A giant gas cloud, A protostar is a baby star, T-Tauri phase, main sequence stars, Expansion into red giant , Fusion of heavier elements and supernovae and planetary nebulae.

What are complementary base patterns? Why are they important?
Kisachek [45]

Answer:

Complementary base patterns are the phenomenon in which guanine binds with cytosine and adenine paired with thymine in DNA

Explanation:

 • Complimentary base are the base of DNA and RNA. These base constitutes the structure of Nucleic acids(DNA and RNA).
 • For DNA complimentary base are adenine, thymine, guanine and cytosine. Guanine is a complementary base of cytosine, whereas adenine is a complementary base of thymine.
 • In RNA uracil is present rather than thymine.
 • Complimentary base patterns are the arrangement of the complimentary base.
 • The Complementary base pairing is important as in DNA the base pairs are arranged in sauch a way that give the DNA a helical structure.
 • Arrangement of base pair helps in matching the DNA.

Result: Complementary base patterns are bases of Nucleic acids.

zzz [600]

Answer:

The correct option is B) Both would be represented as completely shaded squares.

Explanation:

A pedigree can be described as a chart or a diagram which reflects the occurrence of a particular phenotype from one generation to another in a family. It determines the family history for a trait.

In a pedigree, males are usually drawn as squares. A male who is carrying a disorder or a particular phenotype under study is represented by shading the square. A male who is a carrier for the trait under study is represented by lines on the square. Hence, option B is correct.
