Have you ever thought about how ancient civilizations have impacted our modern world? If so, you are not unusual. History shapes the future, and who knows what life today would be like if the past were changed? Drastically different, most likely. The successes and failures of our forebears have led us to where we are today, and this phenomenon continues to fascinate many. One of the civilizations that had the greatest impacts on us was Sumer.
