The DNA formed by biochemical compounds (nucleotides) is organized in chromosomes, in all eukaryotic cells chromosomes are linear.

What is DNA?

DNA is the deoxyribonucleic acid responsible for containing the instructions that determine all the characteristics and functions of an organism.

Characteristics of DNA in eukaryotic cells

 • Each DNA molecule is made up of two chains made up of a large number of biochemical compounds called nucleotides.

 • Each nucleotide, in turn, is made up of a sugar (deoxyribose), a phosphate group, and a nitrogenous base.

 • DNA takes the form of a double helix, where the sides are chains of sugars and phosphates connected by "rungs," which are the nitrogenous bases.

Therefore, we can conclude that in eukaryotic cells, the DNA is found in the nucleus, where the chromosomes reside, and in all eukaryotic cells the chromosomes are linear.

Fynjy0 [20]

Transportation system is maintained by xylem and phloem, response is maintained by endocrine system, and sexual reproduction is maintained by flowers and seeds.

Explanation:

All the systems in plants are very well collaborated with each other, and the response between each one of them results in effecting other systems. The transportation system of plants consists of xylem and phloem. This tissues grow and flourish due to endocrine system. The auxin, cytokinin, and the gibberellin has direct effects on the growth of the plant tissues.

Now the plant reproduction i.e flowering and seed formation are also dependent on the endocrine system. Auxin is responsible for bud formation. So each and every system is dependent on each other for their flourishing.

How do the kidneys compensate for acid-base imbalances?.
Inessa [10]

Kidneys compensate for acid-base imbalances by : Reabsorbing HCO₃ from urine back to the blood and also secreting H⁺ back to the urine.

Acid-base Imbalance

When the amount of acid or base produced in the human body is greater than or less than the required amount of acid or base, and the rate of excretion by the kidneys is above or below normal, the body will experience an Acid-base imbalance situation.

To correct acid-base imbalance in the body the kidney will reabsorb HCO₃ form the urine and while secreting Hydrogen ions back to the urine.

Hence we can conclude that Kidneys compensate for acid-base imbalances by : Reabsorbing HCO₃ from urine back to the blood and also secreting H⁺ back to the urine.
