In order to find out the amount of pounds of tomatoes purchased:

  • We have to know how much one pound is ($3.22 per pound)

  • Total Nico spent ÷ Price per pound

    So it would be

  • 5.76 ÷ 3.22 = 1.78881987578

Rounding our decimal number:

  • If we round to our nearest tenths it would now be 1.8

Answer:

Therefore, the total number of pounds Nico purchased for $5.76 is 1.8lb.

Vicki is 5 years older than twice Ella's age, a.
Anettt [7]

Answer:

5+3a=29

Step-by-step explanation:

let Ella's age be 'a'

Vicki's age=5+2a

Find an equation for the line with undefined slope and passing through the point 9, -7
serg [7]

recall, slope = rise/run, and that a fraction is undefined when the denominator is 0, meaning this slope has a run = 0.

to make it short, when the slope is undefined, is a flag that we simply have a vertical line.  Check the picture below.

Solve.<br> 6n + 12 = -60 - 35
DedPeter [7]

Answer:

6n + 12 = -60 - 35

-12              -12

6n = -107

Divide by 6 on both sides:

N = -17.8333333333  around -17

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to isolate the variable meaning keeping the variable by itself on the left side. In order to do that we must get rid of any constants or co-efficients.

write the slope-intercept form for the equation of the line described through (4,-5) and parallel to y=--5/4x-4
Tems11 [23]

Answer:

y = -5x/4 + 0

Step-by-step explanation:

Find the slope

y = -5/4x - 4

Slope is the coefficient of x

Slope m = -5/4

Substitute m into point slope form equation

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

y - y1 = -5/4( x - x1)

Substitute the point into the equation

( 4 , -5)

x1 = 4

y1 = -5

y - y1 = -5/4( x - x1)

y - (-5) = -5/4( x - 4)

y + 5 = -5/4(x - 4)

Using a slope intercept form equation

y = mx + c

y - intercept point y

m - slope

x - intercept point x

c - intercept

open the bracket with -5/4

y + 5 = -5(x - 4)/4

y + 5 = (-5x + 20)/4

y = (-5x + 20)/4 - 5

LCM = 4

y =( -5x + 20 - 20)/4

y = ( -5x + 0)/4

Rearrange in

y = mx + c

y = -5x/ 4 + 0/4

y = -5x/4 + 0

The equation of the line is

y = -5x/4 + 0

Imagine you find a property with a market value of $330,000, and the seller agrees tosell it to you for $275,000. You flip the p
Taya2010 [7]

First let's calculate the profit in the deal, subtracting the market value and the selling value:

330000-275000=55000

So the profit is $55,000.

Now, calculating the fee of 10% of the profit, we have:

10\text{\% of }55000=0.1\cdot55000=5500

So the fee is $5,500, therefore the correct option is the fourth one.
