1.Examples for civil law are murder, assault, theft,and drunken driving. Civil law deals with behavior that constitutes an injury to an individual or other private party, such as a corporation. Examples are defamation (including libel and slander), breach of contract, negligence resulting in injury or death, and property damage.

2.Criminal law is the type of law that deals with crime punishment. Criminal law usually pertains to cases that affect the public . Examples of criminal law include cases of burglary, assault, battery and cases of murder.

3.Examples of misdemeanor would be  Simple assault,DUI/DWI (depending on number of offenses),Conspiracy,Burglary,Resisting arrest,Obscenity,Prostitution,Perjury,Possession of a controlled substance,Property theft of certain dollar amounts

4.Examples felonies include:

Assault: Although not always classified as a felony, assault, if severe enough, can warrant a felony charge ...

Battery: Battery, which usually is accompanied by assault, occurs when someone actually causes another person physical harm, usually with the use of a weapon or fists.

Arson: Arson is when someone intentionally sets fire to a building or, in some instances, a natural area, such as a forest.

An authoritarian government is one that there is an absolute ruler whose wishes and commands must be carried out without question, and he is not answerable to anybody.

In this type of government, there is usually a:

  • Suspension of the courts
  • Limited or no freedom or rights
  • Strong figure head in power, etc.

If a country happens to become an authoritarian one, then the people would have limited or no freedom or rights at all
