1.Examples for civil law are murder, assault, theft,and drunken driving. Civil law deals with behavior that constitutes an injury to an individual or other private party, such as a corporation. Examples are defamation (including libel and slander), breach of contract, negligence resulting in injury or death, and property damage.

2.Criminal law is the type of law that deals with crime punishment. Criminal law usually pertains to cases that affect the public . Examples of criminal law include cases of burglary, assault, battery and cases of murder.

3.Examples of misdemeanor would be  Simple assault,DUI/DWI (depending on number of offenses),Conspiracy,Burglary,Resisting arrest,Obscenity,Prostitution,Perjury,Possession of a controlled substance,Property theft of certain dollar amounts

4.Examples felonies include:

Assault: Although not always classified as a felony, assault, if severe enough, can warrant a felony charge ...

Battery: Battery, which usually is accompanied by assault, occurs when someone actually causes another person physical harm, usually with the use of a weapon or fists.

Arson: Arson is when someone intentionally sets fire to a building or, in some instances, a natural area, such as a forest.

3.The 5th amendment and the Miranda warning are designed to protect the constitutional rights of individuals in the U.S. by preventing coercive interrogations and abuse of government authority.
