The Warren Court oversaw one of the most important Supreme Court cases in history with its ruling in <em>Miranda vs. Arizona. </em>This case results in the creation of the Miranda warning. Based on this ruling Miranda (a man accused of a crime) was set free because the police officials did not inform him of his rights. This is why police officers list what rights citizens have when being put under arrest.
