For number 5, you just plug -2 into x. We now have g(-2)=3(-2)+1. This gives us g(-2)=-5.

This is the same for 6. h(-6)=-3(-6)-2. This gives us h(-6)=16.

The answer is g(-2)=-5. The other answer is h(-6)=16.
