Step one: know what type of essay you're doing: Problem and Solution, Argumentative, Narrative, etc.

Step two: reseach your topic and collect information from various sources that corresponds with the essay type and topic

Step three: paraphrase your information that you collected

Step four: put the paraphrased information together and hen you'll have a complete "original" essay.
