The Japan initially wanted the Americans expelled from their however, Perry, the American head of the troop was very persistent that after several negotiations, the Japan was made to sign the "Treaty of Kanagawa" on March 31, 1854. The treaty guaranteed that the Japanese will be the one to repair shipwrecked Americans that provides food, coal, water and other needs of the ships that docked in Nagasaki. This forced labor had affected the economy of Japan greatly. It heightened the inflation brought by the foreign money entering Japan disrupting Japan's currency.

Large states felt they should be repreresented morer in the congress while the small states felt  that everyone should be represented eqaully in the congress.

Explanation,

Large states believed that if representation was based on population in the house they deserved morer voice while the small states feared they would be ignored.This resulted to a bicameral legistrative branch which gave equal representation to each state and a representation which is based on population in the house.under bicamel system every stated would be represented equally in the senate by two delegates while representation in the house of Representatives would be based on population.
