Shape A

When you find the area of a parallelogram, you must multiply the height by the base. In this case, the height is 2 and I believe the base would be considered 3 (amount of blocks on chart), so 2 x 3 = 6.

So the area would be 6 (whatever measurement is being involved)^2.

You must always include the ^2 because it refers to inches being squared, or area.

Shape B

You must multiply the base by the height which is 3 x 3 = 9. Then divide by half (its like finding an area of rectangle or square, and dividing in half, like a triangle). So the area is 4.5.

Shape C

The base is 4 and the height is 2 so 8. Then divide by half and is 4, so answer is 4. But can't deny this one is a bit harder to answer so it may be wrong.

^2 must be included in all three subjects since area is involved in all three.

I need to increase my sales by 35% this month I’m currently at 45 sales how many sales do I need to meet my goal ?
telo118 [61]
Assume that 100% = 45 sales and 35% = X sales amount

You can create a ratio to help you solve for x

45 = 100%
x   =  35 %

Which is equal to this fraction:  (45/x) = (100/35)

Solving for X by cross multiplying and dividing by 100:
  [(45)(35)] / 100  =  X = 15.75 = 16 sales (rounded up)

You would need at least 16 sales to increase sales total by 35%

A bag contains five white marbles and five black marbles. What is the probability of drawing a white marble, not replacing it, a
Lelu [443]

~ ANSWER=1/2 ~

Simple probability is found by counting all the results which fit requirements and dividing by all possible results.

To find probability of two results in a row, multiply chance of first result by chance of second result.

Since you are replacing the marble before the second draw, we don’t have to figure out the various changes in odds for the different possible first draws. It’s just that simple.

There are 5 white marbles

There are 4 red marbles

There are always 20 marbles in all

5/20*4/20=1/4*1/5=1/20 or 1/2

By coincidence, the same as the chance of drawing the white marble in one draw.
