The two truck companies would cost the same amount at 36.36 miles.

<h3>Linear equation</h3>

Linear equation is in the form:

y = mx + b

where y,x are variables, m is the rate of change and b is the initial value of y.

Let y represent the total cost of rental for each truck for x mile.

From the table, for we-haul:

  • y = 0.45x + 20

For you-haul:

  • y = x

For the two trucks to cost the same:

0.45x + 20 = x

x = 36.36

The two truck companies would cost the same amount at 36.36 miles.

LUCKY_DIMON [66]

Answer: There are approximately 8 restaurants that have hawaiian pizzas on their menus.

Step-by-step explanation:

Total number of pizzas restaurants in Gotham = 100

Percent of pizza orders in Gotham are for hawaiian pizzas = 7.5

Number of Gotham restaurants that have hawaiian pizzas on their menus is given by

7.5\%\text{ of} 100\\\\=\frac{7.5}{100}\times 100\\\\=7.5

So, there are approximately 8 restaurants in Gotham that have hawaiian pizzas on their menus.
