The features that are formed by the way of glacial deposition are in the forms of Kettle, Moraines and Till. So, the correct options that match the statement quoted above are A, C and E.

These are formed due to glacial deposition that happen as a result of the picking up of rocks by the glaciers as the glaciers continue to flow over the rocks.

Glacial Deposition

 • Kettle are formed as a result of cold ice falling on to the surface of the glacier and then becoming a complete formation of kettles completely into such formation as if holding water in them.

 • Moraines are formed as an accumulation that occurs in the form of dirt and small rocks that fall on to the surface of the glaciers. Glaciers take the moraines along with them as they move.

 • Till are a part of glacial deposits that are formed due to the sedimentary rocks formed during the process of glacier flowing over such rocks over a long period of time.

Hence, the correct options are A, C and E that the kettles, moraines and till are formed as a feature of the glacial deposition.

The oceanic Pacific plate and the oceanic Juan de Fuca plate are diverging. Which landform would you expect to form?
vfiekz [6]

Answer:

The landform that will form is a mid-ocean ridge.

Explanation:

When tectonic plates move away from each other they form a divergent plate boundary. At this type of boundary, as the plates move away, a gap starts to open up gradually. This gap becomes wider and wider over time and the crust is made much less thick, which in turn presents a good opportunity for the magma to come out on the surface.

Because the crust is weaker and thinner, the magma manages to rise through it and rich the surface relatively easily. As it does, the magma reaching the surface, or rather the bottom of the ocean, it solidifies in the water and as more and more magma comes out it piles up. By piling up and constantly creating new rock an underwater mountain chain starts to form and this type of mountain chain is known as a mid-ocean ridge.
