An individual cell is able to make copies of its genetic information but it's unable to produce encoded proteins. this indicates
eduard
This indicates a possible problem with the ribosome of the cell. Ribosomes in cells are responsible for translation the genetic codes in mRNA to appropriate proteins with the help of tRNA. mRNA, rRNA, tRNA and ribosome work together during protein synthesis to produce chains of amino acids that are linked together by polypeptide bonds.

Does any landform on Earth’s surface look the same as it did 5 million years ago? explain why or why not.
Sophie [7]

Answer:

Earth's surface didn't look much different. With few exceptions.

The global climate is cooler and drier, and seasonal, similar to modern climates. As the climate began to cool down grasslands continued to expand and forests started to dwindle in extent. In the seas, kelp forests made their first appearance and soon became one of Earth's most productive ecosystems. Water from the Atlantic Ocean poured in through the Strait of Gibraltar to deluge the Mediterranean Basin. The event is called the Zanclean flood. Parts of of southern Norway and southern Sweden that had been near sea level rose to form the Hardangervidda plateau and the South Swedish highlands.

Shorty after, the glaciations, uplift of the Rocky mountains and Panama seaway closure began to reshape the Earth.

Which of the following accurately describes kidney function?
Troyanec [42]
C applies as the kidney must excrete salt in order to get rid of excess water. (Water chases salt) if there is too much salt in the body the urine will be much more concentrated then if the body had too much water. Glucose may kbly be excreted if there are problems with the kidney- some diabetics pee out glucose. D applies to some degree- salt will still be excreted but in very dilute amounts- as the water must chase something in order to be excreted.
