28 degrees

The temp dropped 28 because if you put it on a number like once it goes down 25 it reaches 0 then down 3 more is -3
And easier way is to just 25+3 and the answer is 28

Can someone help me with this problem please? Thank you!
Olenka [21]

Answer:

50

Step-by-step explanation:

since the Pythagorean theorem is

c= √a^2+b^2

b is the bottom line (48)

a is the right line (14)

c is the top line (c)

plug that in

c = √14^2 + 48^2

then do the exponets

14^2 = 14 * 14 = 196

48^2 = 48 * 48 = 2304

then add them together

196 + 2304 = 2500

c = √2500

the sqrt of 2500 is 50 (50 * 50 = 2500)

c = 50

your answer is 50

hope this helps:)

jekas [21]
For this case, the first thing you should know is:
 d: v * t
 Where,
 d: distance
 v: speed
 t: time
 To go to school by bus we have:
 d = 45 * t
 To return from school we have:
 d = 2.5 * (1-t)
 how the distance is the same:45 * t = 2.5 * (1-t)
 Answer:
 the equation that will help find the time it takes chelsea to get to school on the bus is:
 45 * t = 2.5 * (1-t)
 Note: the equation will have one solution.
