In "The Four Freedoms" speech the point is to tell the population to not be afraid of the war they were ready to fight all his words was against the Axis threat and to show support to British and Allid troops. His speech came in time that Americans were in a extreme isolation caused buy the World War I, a lot of Americans were excluding themselfs of foreing entanglements and besides that the police were trying to contein imigration quotas and increase the imported tariffs. Roosevelt wanted the population to give him full support in his Lend- Lease Program, that consists in give full Allies cash-free access to U.S. The point Roosevelt is trying to make in "The Four Freedoms speech" is not to be afraid of the war they were ready to fight, he also wanted the people to give him full support. In his vision, all nations in the world would have the right to freedom: "The freedom of speech and expression, the freedom to worship, the freedom from want and from fear."

Social control is accomplished through an assortment of means, including through social standards, guidelines, laws, and social, financial, and institutional structures. In fact, there would be no general public without social control, since society can't work without a settled upon and authorized social request that makes every day life and a perplexing division of work conceivable. Without it, disarray and perplexity would rule.

The essential route through which social order is created is through the continuous, long lasting procedure of socialization that every individual encounters.

Marbury v Madison
Background info:
Decision:
Why it matters:
Plz help :p
lora16 [44]

Answer and Explanation:

Background info: When John Adams was defeated by Thomas Jeffersoon in the presidential election, he appointed some allies to senior government posts, such as federal judges. He believed that this way it would be better to maintain some political control in the country. However, after his departure, a law was passed that would allow the number of judges to be reduced. In this scenario, Thomas Jefferson can name new judges and prevent the ones chosen by Adams from being kept. This sparked a discussion about the validity of the law, creating the Marbury v Madison case.

Decision: Foi decidido que os Juízes nomeados por Jefferson deveriam receber seus diplomas e continuar no cargo, sendo que qualquer lei que impedisse isso seria uma lei inconstitucional e portanto, nula.

Why it matters: This case is extremely important for the establishment of the policy we know today. This is because it was through him that the constitutional control exercised by the Judiciary Power was created.
