Hudson left his house at time zero and drove to the store, which is 14 blocks away, at a speed of 2 blocks per minute. Then he s

topped and went into the store for 2 minutes. From there, he drove in the same direction at a speed of 5 blocks per minute until he got to the bank, which is 10 blocks away from the store. He stopped at the bank for 6 minutes. Then he drove home at a speed of 8 blocks every minute. Make a graph of showing the number of blocks away from home that Hudson is xx minutes after he leaves his house, until he gets back home.

To create the graph first organize the data and then create a line graph using the data.

What is a graph?

A graph is a visual representation of two or more factors and how these are related. In this case, the factors or variables are the number of blocks and the time.

How to create a graph?

1. Organize your data: The first step is to organize the data using the two variables and numbers.

Number of blocks vs Time

 • 0 - 0
 • 14 blocks - 7 minutes (2 blocks per minute)
 • 14 blocks - 9 minutes (2 minutes at the store)
 • 24 blocks - 11 minutes (10 / 5 blocks per minute = 2 minutes)
 • 24 blocks - 17 minutes (6 minutes at the bank)
 • 0 blocks -3 minutes (Hudson goes back home then the value of the blocks from home is 0 and his speed is 8 blocks per minute)

2. Create a graph by using the organized data. You can see the graph attached below.

The coefficient of 8.2 N is
8
2
16
Aliun [14]

Answer:

2

Step-by-step explanation:

A coefficient is the number placed before the variable. The variable gets multiplied by the coefficient.

The format is not exactly clear with the expression in the question.

Assuming the expression is '8 * 2n', the coefficient would be 2.

'n' is getting multiplied by '2'.

'8' does not have a variable next to it, so it is just a term in the expression.

The product of 8 and 2 is 16. 16 is not in the expression.

If the expression was '8.2n', 8.2 would be the coefficient.
